HDTV Causes Confusion, Dish Network Provides Clarity
It seems like everyone is jumping onto the high definition television (HDTV) bandwagon. There are now special DVD's and DVD players out which can display high definition television programming. There are also several video game systems that can display their graphics in high definition television resolutions and take advantage of the 16:9 aspect ratio that all HDTV sets feature. And of course, we're all familiar with the popularity of the actual high definition television sets with flashy things like "Plasma screens."

Television And Education
As the amount of time that children spend watching television (televisores) increases, so does the concern for how it affects their academic ability. Children are watching on average four hours of television a day, and extensive research is being made into the effects. However, there is currently no evidence suggesting that television (televisores) watching affects children`s performance in school in a negative manner. In fact, modern research has found that there is a positive correlation between television viewing of 10 hours per week and sustained academic results.

About Marty Angelo - http://www.martyangelo.com

Marty Angelo worked in the entertainment business from 1965 to 1980 until his abuse of drugs and alcohol led to his arrest for cocaine possession in late 1980. Angelo experienced a dramatic conversion to Christianity in mid-1981 prior to serving 2 1/2 years in prison. He became a licensed minister while incarcerated and immediately entered full-time prison and substance abuse ministry upon his release.

Angelo has worked for over 20 years with various Christian based organizations including Faith Farm Ministries, Teen Challenge, and Chuck Colson's Prison Fellowship.

Angelo recently made news when he offered to serve hotel heiress Paris Hilton and actress Lindsay Lohan's jail sentences if they agreed to enter faith-based residential treatment facilities. Angelo also came to the defense of author James Frey in 2006 when talk show host Oprah Winfrey accused Frey of lying in his book, "A Million Little Pieces."

Earlier this month Angelo debated Rev. Jesse Peterson when Peterson spoke negatively concerning NFL football star, Michael Vick's "I found Jesus" statement after his dog-fighting guilty plea in federal court.
