Reality Religion Basis of Award Winning Author's Latest Book on Modern Religion

Warrington, PA (PRWEB) May 5, 2008 -- As our world continues to grow and change with advances in technology and new forms of entertainment, it seems that religion molds and changes with us. In his new book, "Understanding Reality Religion: A Mind-Opening Look at Good, the Bible, the Church, and Faith" (ISBN 9780595453986, iUniverse, 2007) Hiley H. Ward encourages people to take a closer look at the realities of religion and what this means today.

"In short, reality religion is a willingness to look at the full picture before us, taking a 360 degree look at God. A sweeping complete look at God," Ward says of his idea formed under our culture's fascination with reality television. He expertly does so by accepting that good and evil coexist in this world. "To consider one, you must consider the other. They are flip sides of the same coin. Tossed in the air you can examine both sides."

Ward takes the reader on his life's journey with religion all the way from his early Baptist childhood to his now independent, realistic approach to God. He even takes time to examine some questions from his childhood that many readers can relate to. How did it all begin? What happens in the end? How can a good God allow so much evil in the world? Using his realist viewpoint, Ward boils all these questions down to the term, reality religion, which he defines as taking account of the whole situation.

Throughout the book, Ward examines the many faces of God, even encouraging readers to write their own bibles to determine their own beliefs and definition of God. Ward says there are many ways to believe in God, using the overlapping of various religions as an example. This very thought-provoking book is written for those who have questions or are open to a simple, realistic approach to the Christian faith.
